Tip #3 Managing the effects of OVEREATING

0

You derailed, it was a train wreck!!!…

And Now you’re feeling it

Accordingly to NIH (National Institute of Health, Energy imbalances cause the body to STORE FAT and are the #1 cause of WEIGHT GAIN in NORTH AMERICA!!!!

North Americans will consume approximately 4,500 calories for Thanksgiving dinner…

Also worth noting 45% (2061Cals) of those calories come from FAT in the form of gravy and sauces hidden refined sugar in these yummy desserts…

  • Now you’re feeling like a stuffed turkey…
  • Absolutely gross…
  • You can barely move…You can barely bend over to tie your shoes!
  • Your resting heart rate higher than normal…
  • If you have an underlying cardiovascular disease and may even be short of breath…

The whole picture just not pretty…

First of all we need to ask WHY?

The small intestine in adults is approximately 23 feet or 7 meters, and the large intestine in adults is approximately 5 feet or 1.5 meters ..So about 28ft I total…

Now on average the digestive process table to toilet… Is between 12 and 72 hours,  right now you are feeling a little backed up! The healthier you are the more efficiently things run.

OK, here we go. At given time the average person could be carrying 12 – 20 lbs of fecal matter, just sitting there, rotting away inside their small/large intestines and colon! Your body becomes a walking vessel of fecal toxicity.

Not to mention how extremely uncomfortable it is. Some people feel bloated, others could be a little more grumpy than normal. Of course one of the more embarrassing side effects is Extreme halitosis…That’s bad to very bad breath

Now what…

  1. Don’t beat yourself up…Just remember today is our first day of the rest of your life.
  2. Start investing in yourself!!! Decide to take a walk today and every day. It will help get everything moving. As movement really is medicine.
  3. Start looking at your food as nothing more than a FUEL you need to provide your body the energy it requires to make it through the day!!!
  4. Try to eat more healthy choice foods.

And for times likes this when you want to get everything moving again. Try any of the following;

Banana, Apples, Melon, Berries…PRUNES….and any other Low Glycemic fruits and Veggies choice…
