Your Nutritional requirements are as unique as your thumb print. Your BMR is the number of calories your body expends throughout the day. If you exceed this number you will continue to gain weight, however if you consume too few calories the outcome is also weight gain. Low glycemic foods are the starting point for any healthy food plan regardless of whether you are diabetic or not. Low GI foods eaten in the proper ratio at the proper time will also ensure consistent stable energy levels.
